Big print directory praised

South Waikato News - - OPINION -

I wish to express my appreciation to the Rotary Club of Tokoroa for its Community Directory 2011 which was delivered to all households recently.

It is many years since we had that wonderful large print telephone directory and information about the town presented in such a way.

It is truly generous of Yellow Pages to work alongside service clubs in communities such as ours to provide this larger print booklet which is so much more useful than their own directory covering the greater areas.

I understand how much volunteer work is involved in collating the information and finding advertisers to sponsor the production but it becomes such a valuable asset, specially for newcomers to Tokoroa. Congratulations, Rotary. M Brownsey
