Reg­gae band to rock cosi club

Toko­roa is about to be in­vaded by nin­jas.

Un­signed reg­gae and rock band Ni-n-jah will per­form at the Toko­roa Cos­mopoli­tan Club on De­cem­ber 3.

The Hamil­ton-based band is made up of Sean Ha­mana, Cha Tana, Clay­ton Pakinga, Hika Pakinga, Ste­fan West, Tish West and Toti West.

The seven-piece band’s playlist is heavy on reg­gae with a fu­sion of rock.

Ni-n-jah’s jour­ney be­gan in 2010 and their song Pride rose to the num­ber one spot on Ra­dio Tainui’s Top Five at Five.

The band’s three-hour set of orig­i­nals, old school and new school cov­ers will leave au­di­ences buzzing.
