Sallies give Christmas help
For one reason or another many families in New Zealand would not have a merry Christmas, if it was not for the Salvation Army.
Last year 85 families and 267 children were supported with Christmas hampers and presents for each child.
Over the years these Christmas Eve deliveries by social service agencies have been met with emotions of joy, tears and gratefulness.
This year, the Sallies aim to cater for 85 families in need.
HELPING HAND: Various collection points for donated presents are located throughout the community.
