LETTER TO THE EDITOR
Off-licences not for new premises
In response to Colin Bridle’s concerns regarding the application for three off-licences in Tokoroa by Mokosoi Holdings Ltd being for Super Liquor Tokoroa, Bottlezone Warehouse and Bottlezone Express.
I would like to point out the following, these are three existing premises that have held off-licences for years. Mokosoi Holdings purchased these premises on November 16, 2011.
After consultation with the South Waikato District Council Licensing Agency where advice on the timing of the advertisements was sorted and complied with, the advertisements were placed.
The new hours applied for are less then the existing hours in place.
It is the intention of Mokosoi Holdings Ltd to operate these three licences in a professional manner abiding by all the requirements of the Sale of Liquor Act.
Mokosoi Holdings Ltd is well aware of its responsibilities to the whole community and recognises the need to cater for the silent majority that don’t let alcohol-related violence and harm dominate their lives as well as to help educate and support those that do.
