South Waikato people – in the three months to September 30, 2011 the South Waikato District Council lost $720,000 in long-term investments citing market movements and the $US/$NZ dollar movements.
Remember the $20 million from the sale of the electricity shares held by the council on behalf of the community? Well, write to the mayor and councillors and suggest bringing it all back into the district from overseas and around the county. That is $1000 for every man, women and child in the district. The council is speculating with your money while redundancy and the district’s youth call out.
