Fam­i­lies come to play

Toko­roa cel­e­brated Chil­dren’s Day on Sun­day with free events for the en­tire fam­ily.

More than 100 chil­dren and their fam­i­lies turned out to en­joy swim­ming at the South Waikato In­door Pools fol­lowed by ac­tiv­i­ties at the Toko­roa NOW youth park.

The day was or­gan­ised by Pa­cific Is­land Com­mu­nity Ser­vices, the Sal­va­tion Army, TCOSS, Bluelight, Raukawa Char­i­ta­ble Trust, SKIP, Child, Youth and Fam­ily, and the South Waikato Dis­trict Coun­cil.

GREAT WIN: From the boys’ camp, Moroni Kingi also won a new bike.

WIN­NER: Tahuia Ngatai-blyth won a brand new bike dur­ing the Chil­dren’s Day cel­e­bra­tions in Toko­roa on Sun­day.
