Wait­ing is over, Con­chords touch down for na­tional tour

The ru­mours have been con­firmed, Flight of the Con­chords is tour­ing the coun­try and is bound to have au­di­ences laugh­ing at Founders Theatre in Hamil­ton on June 14.

Fol­low­ing the suc­cess of their self-ti­tled HBO hit tele­vi­sion se­ries, Flight of the Con­chords has sold out tours across the United States and Europe, per­form­ing at land­mark venues like the Hol­ly­wood Bowl, New York’s Ra­dio City Mu­sic Hall and London’s Wem­b­ley Arena.

The duo is bring­ing the live show back home at last with an ex­ten­sive na­tional tour.

‘‘It’s go­ing to be great to play New Zealand again. I can’t wait to per­form where peo­ple can un­der­stand our ac­cents,’’ Bret Mcken­zie said.

‘‘We’re look­ing for­ward to our first New Zealand tour. This will be by far the most con­ve­nient tour we’ve ever done,’’ Jer­maine Clement said.
