Kids enjoyed the Taupo AC baths on a trip organised by Tokoroa Bluelight.

Tokoroa Bluelight is a non- profit organisation that works hand in hand with the New Zealand Police and offers many different activities, programmes, events, camps and day trips for the children and youth in our community.

Each activity that Bluelight runs is free from drugs, alcohol and violence.

Some of the activities they provide are Take a kid to footy, Rainbow’s End fun day, junior touch, school holiday camps, pool parties, day trips, programmes in schools – this is just to name a few.

Tokoroa Bluelight has many volunteers who help with each event.

Having the police on board helps build better relationships between the young people, the community and the police.

The next event Bluelight is running is a week- long camp at Camp Waitawheta in the Waihi Gorge from April 16 to 20.
