Strap­ping Course Toko­roa Phys­io­ther­apy will be hold­ing a sports strap­ping course on Tues­day, April 10 start­ing at 6.30pm. Cost is $20 a per­son and the ses­sion is for a max­i­mum of 16 peo­ple. To reg­is­ter your par­tici- pa­tion phone me at the Sport Waikato of­fice on 886 9002. Hash House Har­ri­ers Hash House Har­ri­ers in Toko­roa meet tonight at 6pm at Ra’s Bar on Rose­bery St. Join the walk­ing/ run­ning group for some fun, so­cial and phys­i­cal ac­tiv­ity. Pu­taruru Ju­nior Rugby Pu­taruru Rugby Club will hold a ju­nior Rippa Rugby in­ter-school tour­na­ment this Thurs­day, March 29 start­ing at 4pm at the Nola Block grounds. The tour­na­ment will cater for years 1 and 2, 3 and 4, 5 and 6, and 7 and 8 stu­dents and be mixed boys’ and girls’ teams. No boots will be worn for this fun Rippa tour­na­ment. The club will also hold a ju­nior muster and weigh- in this Satur­day, March 31 from 10am at the clu­b­rooms. Toko­roa Ju­nior Squash The ju­nior Squash sea­son starts on Mon­day, April 23 at the Toko- roa courts on East Park­dale Drive with club nights for all ju­nior play­ers. The pri­mary ses­sion will start at 4pm, in­ter­me­di­ate at 5pm, and se­niors and ad­vanced play­ers at 6pm. A qual­i­fied coach will be lead­ing the ses­sions that will run through­out terms 2 and 3 each Mon­day. Play­ers are asked to wear non-mark­ing soled shoes and the club has some rac­quets for use. Ki­wis­port in the Dis­trict This term has seen rugby league and cricket Ki­wis­port of­fi­cers in Toko­roa schools. In Pu­taruru, bad­minton has been the Ki­wis­port fo­cus dur­ing the term. Term 2 will see bad­minton, net­ball and hockey in Toko­roa pri­mary schools and cy­cling, foot­ball and golf in Pu­taruru pri­mary schools.
