Jesse youngest finisher
Tokoroa teenager Jesse Clarke is following in his father’s tracks after competing in the Red Bull Romaniacs extreme enduro in Romania.
The Forest View High School student, who is the son of Yamaha ace Sean Clarke, finished seventh in the expert teams class with partner Mark Newton, 47.
The result makes Jesse the youngest rider to ever finish the event.
The event was held over five days from June 13 to 17 in Romania where Jesse rode against 22 other riders in his category; the event had 210 overall.
Riders travelled around 154km each day with the third day taking riders nine hours to complete the stage.
