SEPTEM­BER 14 Odd Shoe Day, a fundraiser for Camp Qual­ity. Peo­ple are dared to wear odd shoes. Ni-N-Jah, to per­form at the Toko­roa Cos­mopoli­tan Club. Fu­ri­ous Ge­orge, at The Toko­roa Club. SEPTEM­BER 21 Loud Shirt Day, will be marked as an an­nual ap­peal for Hear­ing House and the South­ern Cochlear Im­plant Pae­di­atric Pro­gramme.


OC­TO­BER 10 The Im­pe­rial Rus­sian Bal­let Com­pany, will per­form Swan Lake at Founders The­atre in Hamil­ton. OC­TO­BER 14 The Ara­puni Dam Run Fundraiser, will be held at Bul­mers Land­ing in Ara­puni. OC­TO­BER 26 The TriMaori Fes­ti­val 2012, will be held from Oc­to­ber 26 (reg­is­tra­tions) and the fol­low­ing day. The event, which will in­clude a triathlon, 10km and 5km run/walk events, will be joined by a range of expo, mu­si­cal en­ter­tain­ment and food stalls.


NOVEM­BER 10 The Tani­wha, New Zealand’s new­est moun­tain biking and of­froad run­ning and walk­ing event will see ath­letes com­pete in 80km moun­tain bike to a more mod­est 7km run or walk.


DE­CEM­BER 2 In­ter­na­tional ad­ven­turer Bear Grylls, to speak of his trav­el­ling ex­pe­ri­ences to au­di­ences at Vec­tor Arena on De­cem­ber 2.
