Ju­nior cy­cling started on Mon­day, Oc­to­ber 15, with com­pe­ti­tion start­ing on Mon­day, Oc­to­ber 29; 5.15pm reg­is­tra­tions, 5.30pm start at Toko­roa Cart Club, Mof­fat Road, Am­is­field. $1 a child each night. In­quires to Shane 027 416 4088. Hot Hula Classes

Mandy has ex­panded her reper- toire to in­clude Hot Hula. She has been train­ing and learn­ing, and is ready to pass on her ex­per­tise. Classes are Mon­day from 11am till noon and Wed­nes­day from 1pm till 2pm. All classes are $3 and are held at the Elim Church, Aotea Crescent. Un­der Fives

On Wed­nes­day, Oc­to­ber 17 at 10.30am there will be a tod­dler move­ment work­shop at TCOSS, Tul­loch House, Marae­tai Rd, Toko­roa. This work­shop is for PAFT (Par­ents as First Teach­ers). Nom­i­na­tions closed on Oc­to­ber 5. We have re­ceived some fan­tas­tic nom­i­na­tions with some amaz­ing tal­ent in our area and some fab­u­lous peo­ple help­ing out in ad­min­is­tra­tion and coach­ing roles. This year we are for­tu­nate enough to have Sarah Walker, BMX rider and sil­ver medal­list as guest speaker.
