Upgrade gets a boost
Putaruru Rotary has identified Putaruru St John’s building upgrade efforts as its major focus of support this year.
The club raised more than $13,000 for Putaruru’s St John upgrade plans through a gala dinner featuring guest speakers and power couple, the Chiefs and the Magic CEOs, Gary and Sheryl Dawson.
The theme for the evening was ‘‘ building winning teams’’ and according to Rotary member Martin Bennett, the Dawsons felt they were in ‘‘ winning’’ company with the Putaruru Rotary and St John organisations.
The Dawsons shared their views on winning teams and complimented St John’s for the way they form those teams.
