Scroogly good

South Waikato News - - OPINION -

Congratulations to Putaruru Theatre Players. Your Christmas production Oh Scrooge was thoroughly entertaining from the opening scene to the closing number.

Experienced performers are the backbone on any show but for me the youngsters, teenagers and first timers on stage were the stars. Costumes were excellent and well-researched for authenticity.

I appreciated the time and work that went into the making of the coat worn by the Spirit of Christmas (Present).

Audience participation was enthusiastically encouraged by the actors. Live shows are successful when there is a great script and it is interpreted by a good director and musical director. Tina Ward demonstrated she can do just that.

To the cast and production team
