Forum to discuss sports
All our children in the area are back at school now so please be aware of children walking and biking to and from school.
Local Sport Review Forum: Sport Waikato is holding a forum for local sports leaders in Tokoroa. It is keen to get input from the community about what works well in sport, what stops it being better, what is changing, what response is being made to change and what needs to happen in the future.
Club and school personnel, coaches, administrators, sport coordinators, secondary school students, teachers, principals and players are all on the list of people invited. However, other people are welcome to attend and contribute.
The forum is designed to uncover the needs of sporting organisations and to prioritise what should be done to assist sport in the future.
The forum will be held at The South Waikato Sports and Event Centre on Wednesday, February 27, from 5.30 till 7.00 pm.
If you would like to attend and give your views or if you have any further questions, contact Gilly Alexander, 027 471 5968 or 886 9002, email@example.com
Tokoroa Hash House Harriers: This week the run is from the Cosmopolitan Club at 6pm Wednesday night. There is a good walkers’ trail; dogs on a leash are welcome to come for exercise too!
Mandy’s Exercise Classes: Mandy has a number of classes operating from The Elim Church Hall, Aotea Cres. Class schedules are available from our office at 22 Swanston St, or contact Mandy on 021 246 3205.
