Thanks to supermarket

South Waikato News - - OPINION -

I would like to add my thanks to the students and Tokoroa New World Supermarket for the great service we, as customers, received pre-Christmas.

I wanted to write a thank-you letter to the organisation that provided us with these helpful, smiling students, but didn’t know where to send it.

I saw the letter by C Griffin, and that gave me an answer to my problem. What better way to thank these young people, and also New World, than through the pages of our local paper so that my grateful thanks will reach all concerned, belated though it is. B Elisaia Tokoroa these individuals prosecuted? R Banks Tokoroa cost of the paint with the support of Morrissey’s as we felt that enhancing the Tokoroa Skate Park was an important part of the community and giving the kids somewhere to hang. The council only gave permission for the street art to be done but in no way did it ever financially support the incentive. YR’s Painters has supplied a sign for the skate park, designed and printed by YR’s free of charge.

Without the support of Cherish Our Children, Morrissey’s and YR’s Painters these enhancements never would have happened, as the council had no interest in it. R Garner Tokoroa
