Pu­taruru held its an­nual A& P Show at Glen­shea Park on the week­end show­cas­ing sideshows, trade ex­hibits, food stalls, mini golf, rock climb­ing, craft and bak­ing as well as live­stock. South Waikato News went along to cap­ture the ac­tion.

RU­RAL PRIDE: The best live­stock Pu­taruru has to of­fer were watched by A& P Show vis­i­tors.

WAIT­ING FOR THE FUN: A queue was be­gin­ning to form at one of the event’s ob­sta­cle cour­ses.

GROOMED FOR SUCCESS: Own­ers put the fi­nal touches on their minia­ture ponies be­fore com­pe­ti­tion be­gan on Satur­day.

DE­LI­CIOUS BAK­ING: Pu­taruru Par­ents Cen­tre Play­group’s cake stall was a hit with many flock­ing to buy.

DI­VERSE FUN: This year’s A& P Show of­fered a di­verse range of fun ac­tiv­i­ties in­clud­ing rock climb­ing

GIRL GUIDES: The South Waikato Girl Guides were also at the event.

FINE FORM: They are a sta­ple of the show and their skills did not dis­ap­point this year.

HOLE IN ONE: Mini golf was on the cards for this keen golfer who was not shy about show­ing his skills.
