Waratah staff shine

Man­agers and team lead­ers at Waratah are cel­e­brat­ing the success of a num­ber of staff who have achieved the Na­tional Cer­tifi­cate in Busi­ness (Front Line) (Level 3).

Ca­pa­bil­ity build­ing within Waratah is a high pri­or­ity.

The part­ner­ship be­tween Waratah man­agers, pro­gramme par­tic­i­pants and Lead­er­ship Devel­op­ment NZ has re­sulted in in­creased ben­e­fits to Waratah such as, strength­ened com­mu­ni­ca­tion with sup­pli­ers, im­proved fo­cus on re­duc­ing waste and in­creas­ing ef­fi­ciency.

Grad­u­ate Sel­wyn Rusk re­ported that ‘‘ the pro­gramme as­sisted greatly, es­pe­cially with time pri­or­i­ties, set­ting goals and mak­ing my­self more ef­fi­cient in where I put my en­ergy’’.

Lead­er­ship Devel­op­ment NZ man­ager Glenda Hamil­ton pre­sented the cer­tifi­cates.
