EN­ROL TO VOTE: Lo­cal body elec­tions are set down for Oc­to­ber 12, 2013 and ev­ery­body liv­ing in South Waikato over the age of 18 can vote – re­gard­less of whether they are a ratepayer or not.

Those liv­ing out­side the dis­trict but who own a prop­erty in South Waikato can also vote.

Res­i­dents have un­til Au­gust 16 to en­sure they are on the Elec­toral Roll.

Those peo­ple en­rolled by Au­gust 16 will be sent their vot­ing pa­pers in the mail.

Vot­ing in the lo­cal elec­tions is by postal vote from Septem­ber 20 to Oc­to­ber 12, 2013.

En­rolling by Au­gust 16 is the eas­i­est way for you to have your say in the lo­cal body elec­tions.
