Free up the wifi

Coun­cil staff have fi­nally asked coun­cil to con­sider free wifi in our li­braries.

Last time coun­cil dis­cussed in­ter­net in li­braries Cr Gubb’s wife wrote a sub­mis­sion let­ter to the an­nual plan, on be­half of Planet Com­put­ers on let­ter­head, en­cour­ag­ing the charg­ing on the in­ter­net in the li­brary ( $6 per hour fee was agreed upon).

A con­flict of in­ter­est by the Gubb fam­ily who have paid com­put­ers in their shop 100m away from the Toko­roa li­brary?
