Burglar steals from children

South Waikato News - - NEWS -

Dear burglar/s,

First off, we here at South Waikato News are devastated that you were not happy enough with taking our gadgets, you also took gifts that our community donated to those less fortunate.

If you are not aware, let us make you aware – we here at SWN have a place for our community to come and place gifts under the tree so that those children who would normally miss out on Christmas don’t.

Because of your actions there will be some children who will wake up to no gifts, some children who would of remembered this year as being a terrible one, would of at least remembered one day ‘‘Christmas’’ as a day that they were not forgotten off Santa Claus’s list.

We hope for the sake of those that gave so generously to the community Christmas Appeal that you would do the honorable thing and drop them off somewhere, maybe outside our door when no one is around – or you could do the right thing and turn yourself in.

We want to wish you a Merry Christmas and hope that you or your family do not suffer the misfortune of having all your wishes dashed by a heartless thief as those children who deserved those gifts will have to endure.

If you have any information about the burglary at South Waikato News over the weekend please phone Tokoroa Police on 885 0100. Kind regards, The South Waikato News Team
