Swim­ming Clinic

Apolo­gies – this is ac­tu­ally to­day in Pu­taruru from 10am to noon at the Pu­taruru Pool. Open to club and ca­sual swimmers. Cost is pool en­try and the course will be run by Chris Jolly ( Sport­sForce Swim­ming) and Jo Sul­li­van ( sil­ver in­struc­tor). ECHO Walk­ing Fes­ti­val

This year the South Waikato will be part of the ECHO Walk­ing Fes­ti­val with walks tak­ing place in the South Waikato from Satur­day, March 29 un­til Sun­day, April 6. All walks are guided with some eas­ier and child friendly with oth­ers cater­ing for the ‘‘ ex­pe­ri­enced’’ walker. Brochures are avail­able from Sport Waikato, Waikato River Trails, and the Ti­rau and Toko­roa In­for­ma­tion cen­tre, or you can reg­is­ter for the walks online at www. echowalk­fest. org. nz. Toko­roa Hash House Har­ri­ers

The Toko­roa Hash House Har­ri­ers are gath­er­ing in Leith Place, ( McDon­ald’s end), at 6pm tonight for an in­ter­est­ing mys­tery trails for walk­ers and run­ners. We usu­ally fin­ish the stop/ start trail within an hour. Come along and try it out.
