Wa­iariki grad­u­a­tion cer­e­monies

Toko­roa’s Wa­iariki In­sti­tute of Tech­nol­ogy stu­dents will of­fi­cially grad­u­ate in Fe­bru­ary.

Cer­e­monies are sched­uled to be held in Ro­torua, Taupo, Toko­roa and Whakatane with a com­bined Grad­u­ate March through Ro­torua on Fri­day, Fe­bru­ary 14, at 11am.

Wa­iariki chief ex­ec­u­tive Pro­fes­sor Mar­garet Noble be­lieves while some of the re­gional turnouts may be small in num­bers in this first year, the ex­ten­sion of spe­cific grad­u­a­tions for re­gional cam­puses pro­vides an im­por­tant op­por­tu­nity for suc­cess­ful stu­dents to grad­u­ate in front of their whanau (fam­ily) and friends who may not be able to come to Ro­torua for a com­bined grad­u­a­tion.

Toko­roa stu­dents will grad­u­ate on Fe­bru­ary 18 at South Waikato Sport and Events Cen­tre.
