Annual plan adoption deemed no thrilling matter
Months of deliberations have boiled down to an ‘‘anti-climatic’’ annual plan adoption. Mayor Neil Sinclair said the 2014-15 annual plan may have been an anti-climax but it read well. ‘‘I find it one of the easiest annual plans to read,’’ he said. A 5.13 per cent rate increase was the result of the number of granted submissions. But a number of projects and investments got the chop including the Bonaly St toilets and the developments of Aniwaniwa Reserve and Glenshea Park walkway extensions. The plan officially came into effect yesterday.
