South Waikato groups not in to win grants

South Waikato News - - SPORT -

This month, Grassroots Trust Limited contributed $487,584.36 to sport, education and community groups.

While many Waikato-wide groups were on the list not one South Waikato focussed group received funding.

You have to be in to win - one thing South Waikato groups failed to remember this month.

The Grassroots Trust Board of Directors meet every fourth Wednesday of every month in 2014 to review grant applications.

Completed grant applications must be received by the Grassroots Trust Grants Office on or before the last working day of the month prior to the Board meeting in which the application is to be considered. Applications submitted or completed after this date will be held for consideration the month following.

Grant applications must be submitted at least two months before the due date of when the funding is required, otherwise the application may be declined.
