Why are scheme cri­te­ria chang­ing?

Toko­roa air­shed is the prob­lem area and is tar­geted for change be­cause the num­ber of el­i­gi­ble homes un­der the old crit­era are dwin­dling. Changes as of July 1 2014 Owner must have a com­mu­nity ser­vices card OR have re­ceived a rates re­bate within the last two years.

Must be in­su­lated to EECA stan­dard OR be reg­is­tered to have in­su­la­tion in­stalled within the 2014/2015 year. Changes as of July 2015 In­su­la­tion en­cour­aged but NOT com­pul­sory

May be owner/ oc­cu­pied dwellings OR ten­anted prop­er­ties

Open to all in the Toko­roa air­shed (ie no longer have to be a com­mu­nity ser­vices card holder or have re­ceived a rate re­bate).

Only 50 per cent will be funded ( ie, no longer fully funded). Re­main­der can be funded through heat swap Ap­ply NOW if you: Re­ceived a rates re­bate within the last two years Ap­ply in July 2015 if you: Are con­sid­er­ing join­ing Heat Swap - WAIT, that way you will be el­i­gi­ble for the $2000 from the Warm Homes Clean Air scheme.
