Bro show coming our way

-

South Waikato residents can enjoy a night of music and comedy next month when Beauty and the Bro comes to town.

The show, featuring Samoan/ Welsh comic James Nokise and folk singer Mel Parsons, will be hitting the Tokoroa stage mid next month.

Beauty and the Bro is an intimate live cabaret show, combining the talents of Parsons and Nokise, which is touring the country through Arts on Tour.

New Zealand’s favourite (and only) Samoan/ Welsh stand-up comic, Nokise, the first Pacific Islander to crack the UK stand-up comedy circuit, returns with Soso Gangsta, a hilarious show about New Zealand gang culture and the way society responds to it.

They will take you on a journey through quiet and heartfelt folk ballads through to rollicking country foot-stompers and high comedy.

Beauty and the Bro will be on at the Tokoroa Little Theatre on September 18 from 7.30-9.30pm.

Tickets cost $20 each and are available at Tokoroa Clothing Company or 886 8488.
