Party bus ‘positive’
A Labour Party bus hit Tokoroa last week as a part of a month-long national tour.
The bus brought in campaign leaders to talk to the residents outside Leith Place as well of parts of the town.
Local MP Jamie Strange visited the town with Te Tai Hauauru Labour candidate Adrian Rurawhe and party president Moira Coatsworth. Local electorate campaign chairman Wayne Ward said the bus was part of the ‘‘positive’’ campaign to steer away from ‘‘dirty politics’’.
