Sports awards nominations open
Sport Waikato is again acknowledging sporting excellence in the region. District Sports Awards nominations are now open until Friday October 10.
Category winners are considered for the prestigious Brian Perry Waikato Regional Sports Awards held on Thursday January 29, 2015.
Maree Hawkins did us proud this year winning the administrator of the year category.
Clubs, schools and sports organisations need to take the time to fill in a nomination form so the achievements of people in our district can be highlighted.
Sport Waikato makes it as easy as possible to nominate online.
From referee-umpire of the year to team of the year, our categories reflect the various roles in sport.
The South Waikato Awards is Monday November 10 at the South Waikato Sport and Events Centre, Tokoroa.
Nominations can be made online at sportwaikato.org.nz, forms are also available from the South Waikato Sport Waikato office, 43 Swanston St. Gear up For Summer: Biking Events happening in October.
