Encore a first at Putaruru Plaza

South Waikato News - - ENTERTAINMENT / TE PAE WHAKANGAHAU -

For seven years King Country singers have been making their way to Beatrice Hofer’s home in Kio Kio to learn the finer points of singing.

This collective, now a group called Encore, is being asked to sing at a variety of venues.

Building on successful concerts for the Waitomo Society of Arts in Te Kuiti in October, the Te Awamutu Bible Chapel in November, and the Te Awamutu Rosenvale Gardens in March this year, the group will now be sharing their talent, versatility and enthusiasm at a concert in the Putaruru Plaza. Don’t miss Hofer and Encore performing Happily Ever-After, a musical contemplation of love, relationships and the joys of growing old.

With a repertoire that includes opera, musical theatre, folk, and humour, Hofer and Encore will perform at The Plaza at 2pm, June 14.

Tickets, $15 per person, are on sale now from The Plaza, i-Sites and will be available at the door.
