Clas­si­cal pi­anist comes to Pu­taruru

Clas­si­cal pi­ano en­thu­si­asts will be in for an ex­pe­ri­ence at the next South Waikato Mu­sic So­ci­ety con­cert.

Is­raeli pi­anist Dorel Golan is mak­ing her first ap­pear­ances in New Zealand at the Univer­sity Academy in Hamil­ton and The Plaza in Pu­taruru on July 12 at 2.30pm.

Con­cert­go­ers from Tau­ranga and Ro­torua will make an ap­pear­ance to welcome her and young Aus­tralian cel­list Sam Lu­cas to the South Waikato.

Dorel will be per­form­ing a se­lec­tion of pi­ano master­works, all in the key of G mi­nor.

In the sec­ond half she will ac­com­pany Lu­cas, a mem­ber of the na­tional prizewin­ning cello quar­tet Qu­at­tro, in Franck’s very ro­man­tic-style cello sonata.

Is­raeli Pi­anist Dorel Golan will be per­form­ing in Pu­taruru on July 12.
