The only things I see Leith Place in need of is: 1. A roof over the footway across to the shops, for allweather incentive to make the crossing. 2. At least twenty individual toilets opening straight on to the street, with 3 ply household toilet rolls. Place half over by the shops. Tour buses need the incentive of multiple, safe, clean toilets open around the clock, to bring their 50 passengers each to town. Scrimping on exactly that, is the big mistake. Bridge Street. 1. Deeply angled parking (for safety) right along the Southern side. 2. A consistent wide verandah from Leith to the Church over roadways too. 3. Deep angle parking from Leith to Campbell with continuous verandah too. 4. Verandah over both crossings. Swanson St. Verandah from Leith to Bonally’s West side, + across to Swanson’s South side. We are competing with Rotorua’s closed-in mall. We appreciate the improvements to our paper.
