South Waikato News - - Your Paper, Your Place -

We had 17 reports of family violence and domestic incidents for the week. Most of these calls have been in relation to incidents where people have been intoxicated via alcohol or from having synthetic cannabis.

Despite synthetic cannabis being made illegal it continues to be in every community throughout the country. While the use of synthetic cannabis is not a widespread problem in Tokoroa it is still causing all sorts of varied reactions because people don’t actually know what they are buying.

My advice is don’t touch the stuff and if you have any information in relation to the sale or supply of synthetic cannabis in Tokoroa we are keen to hear about it.

You can either contact us at the station on 885 0100 or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
