FROM THE EDITOR

South Waikato News - - Your Paper, Your Place -

I hope everyone is settling into the year well.

We certainly are here at the South Waikato News and have some good reading for you in today’s edition.

On the front page we take a look at the issue of youths smashing windows in the CBD.

There is nothing more irritating than pouring your heart and soul into a business only to have people come along and destroy it with no other motive than they have nothing better to do.

Let’s hope we get some cameras in the area soon to try and stop the problem.

We have plenty of people doing good things in the paper too this week. Also on the front page we have the community gardeners busy producing fresh vege’s for our table. Best we get along and support them to support us by buying some cheap, fresh produce.

On page 5 we take a look at Thuy Pham and how she has turned her life around by tying herself in knots.
