-

Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech had a really, really bad day at the office in the opening round of the Premier League.

Not only did Cech concede four goals inside 17 minutes, as Liverpool secured a 4-3 victory at the Emirates, the Czech stopper’s terrible day then took another wrong turn as he crashed his Audi sports car while exiting the stadium.

Cech’s set of wheels are worth a reported £85,000 (NZ$152,360).

But as he hastily tried to get away from the Emirates after their calamitous first home game of the new season, he managed to hit a pillar and then drive into it, with one witness claiming the car was a ‘write-off’. to his 3.66 million followers on Twitter. their face was enough, though, for the powers that be. The rest of New Zealand’s athletes should at least be relieved that KFC hasn’t been capped. That would be awful.
