Your average English punter wouldn’t hesitate to scoff a pie at a sports game, but Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger turned his nose up when a fan kindly offered him his pastry at an English League Cup tie at Nottingham Forest.
The fan ran on to the pitch, clutching a polystyrene tray with the goods before approaching the Frenchman with the pie.
Stewards quickly ushered the fan away, who missed Arsenal thrashing Forest 4-0, but the pie in question was abandoned at the stadium, as revealed by another fan’s picture on social media.
