Sunday News - - FEATURE -

In a capitalist society, we’re brought up to conform to the system. We’re taught the practical skills we need to progress, (such as counting), and to follow the path that’s expected of us. That usually means being goal-orientated, ambitious, competitive and, if need be, selfish. No one teaches us the value of taking a step back occasionally. Rare is the person who advises taking a day off for some recuperation. Life’s far too fast paced for that. But these things are essential. You’ll gain a lot from a little rest this week.
