Hal Cruttenden

Sunday Star-Times - Sunday Magazine - - THE GRILL -

Hal Cruttenden has never been cool – it’s part of the British comedian’s charm. He’s been described variously as unashamedly middle-class, hitting middle-age, a little bit rotund and a fair bit daft. Cruttenden took his first comedy workshop while writing traffic reports for the BBC and ultimately went on to host Live at the Apollo. This month, he’s heading to New Zealand to perform his latest show, Straight Outta Cruttenden with a band of comedy all-stars. We subjected Cruttenden to a Sunday Grill
