Four ways with a tie-front blouse

This garment is traditionally known as a pussy-bow blouse, but that name takes on a whole new meaning in the Trump era, so let’s call it “tie-front” instead. Wearing one might appear a daring act at first glance – it’s so overt and frothy you’d think it would be a one-outfit-only wonder. But the collar-come-neck-scarf is remarkably versatile. Pick one in a colour that brings out your eyes and you’ll wear it for life – or at least as long as the silk lives. Silk’s two main enemies are grease or oil and acid (that is, sweat), so this is a top you’ll want to wash after every wear.
