Although it was less than summery on Boxing Day, the weather could not dampen the spirits of Ellerslie’s festive racegoers. About 15,000 people turned out to enjoy a day of high fashion, entertainment, socialising and premier thoroughbred racing. International tennis star and ASB Classic fifth seed, was on course to check out the action on and off the track. came away with the coveted title of Supreme Fashions in the Field winner and daughter kept it in the family, winning the Under 25 category.
