Ford is continuing with its massive push to become a ‘mobility company’, rather than just a car manufacturer, by announcing that it will acquire Chariot, a San Francisco-based crowd-sourced shuttle service, as well as collaborating with bikesharing provider Motivate to expand its transportation solutions in city centres. The American company is also is establishing a new City Solutions team to work with cities around the world on transportation needs.
