New Kiwi documentary which takes viewers behind the security fences and into the hidden world of demolition at 10 different sites across Christchurch, Wellington and Auckland. Many of the buildings they have to demolish have been damaged by quakes and need to come down in a hurry. The cameras, including drones and go-pros, capture never-before-seen footage from inside Christchurch’s red zone, with behind-thescenes access to the country’s two biggest controlled implosions at Christchurch’s Newstalk ZB building and Central Police Station. However, demolition isn’t just about taking buildings apart, but also what needs to be salvaged from within.
