Restricted Licence conditions:

Sunday Star-Times - - WORLD -

• The driver is allowed to drive on their own between 5am and 10pm. Outside these hours, they must have a supervisor in the vehicle. A supervisor is someone who has held their full New Zealand licence for at least two years. • Passengers are not permitted unless a supervisor is present. There are exceptions: if a spouse or de facto partner is present or the driver has children that they are parent or guardian of (it doesn’t include younger siblings’.)
