Another surfing title
A surfing teenager whose family moved their life from one province to another for her career has taken out the top spot at a national competition. Natasha Gouldsbury (above), 13, now lives in Taranaki but spent part of her school holidays on the east coast. She took out the Under 14 Girls Division of the National Scholastic Surfing Championships. She was the top performing surfer from Taranaki, winning her title in Gisborne on Thursday. Gouldsbury, her parents Shaun and Corrine, and siblings Amanda and Jessica, all packed up their life in Levin for the surf in Taranaki in March this year. Taranaki surfer Tom Butland also made the finals of the Under 16 Boys division, finishing fourth.
