Heimgartner joins Kelly

Andre Heimgartner has been retained by Kelly Racing for the upcoming Supercars season. It means all five New Zealand drivers who raced in the category in 2018, will be on the starting grid again this year, with the others being Scott McLaughlin, Fabian Coulthard, Richie Stanaway and Shane van Gisbergen. The

23-year-old will again drive the No 7 Nissan Altima Supercar and is the final driver confirmed for the upcoming season, which begins in Adelaide on February 28. The 2019 season will mark the New Zealand star’s fourth full-time season in the category, having enjoyed stints at Super Black Racing (2015) and Lucas Dumbrell Motorsport (2016). 2018, ending the year with a flurry of results, including a top 10 shoot-out berth at his home race at Pukekohe Park.
