Crash victim dies in hospital

A man whose car crashed over a bank in New Plymouth on Friday has died. The 85-year-old man was taken to Taranaki Base Hospital in critical condition on Friday after his car crashed down a bank at the intersection of Maratahu St and Frankley Rd about 2pm. He died later that day. Senior Constable Toni Sharrock appealed for witnesses to the crash.
