TREASURES COME OUT
Taupo Museum’s Out of the Archives exhibition opens on Saturday September 24 and runs until October 30. The exhibition showcases treasures from the museum’s collection, like original artwork and photography that features iconic Taupo places and personalities from the 1980’s, 1950’s, 1900’s and 1800’s. ‘‘Just viewing the paintings alone will invoke memories for locals, as these are Taupo-related and include scenic images and portraits that date back to the early 1800s,’’ manager Luisa Haine says.
