Moa re-ar­tic­u­la­tion be­gins: From Au­gust 3-31, the Taupo Mu­seum will start the re-ar­tic­u­la­tion of the Moa. Our Moa is be­ing re­paired at last and you can come and watch as sculp­tor and ar­tic­u­la­tor, Ju­dith Streat, pre­pares the an­cient skele­ton ready for a new dis­play. MINKISI: Art and be­lief in West and Cen­tral Africa. From July 9 to Septem­ber 4 at the Taupo Mu­seum see a dra­matic global ex­hi­bi­tion of African stat­ues and masks from the Des­mond Bovey col­lec­tion.
