Hair stylist wins bronze at Goldwell

A Taupo hair salon has proven they can put together colour, style, and fashion, making them a finalist in the Goldwell Colour Zoom competition.

Cremebrulee Hair and Beauty salon owner Patreece Corban has won a bronze prize in Sydney after competing in the Goldwell Colour Zoom competition.

Corban entered the competition after being presented six images with the idea of having to recreate her own image that would fit within the category.

Make-up artist Rachel Elmiger completed the final look while Taupo photographer Angela Henderson captured the final product.

‘‘You need the whole package. Clothing, make up, colour and cut are all part of the competition.’’

Deanna Rohrlach agreed to be the local model, putting a lot of trust into Corban’s work.

‘‘She let me shave her hair,’’ said Corban.

Corban said she is proud to be represent New Zealand and to put Taupo on the Map in the hair and beauty industry.

‘‘It shows you anything is possible.’’

Corban said she is looking forward to competing again next year.
