Hot Tub set to en­ter­tain

Hot Tub will pro­vide en­ter­tain­ment for lo­cals and vis­i­tors dur­ing Labour Week­end as the tra­di­tional mid­day con­cert at St An­drew’s Church be­comes an evening con­cert.

Hot Tub is a colour­ful lo­cal 13-piece band known for cov­er­ing well known songs that suit their style. With hits from 30s Jazz, Dix­ieland, Fun(k), R&B, Mo­town and pop, their big sound is sure to get the au­di­ence feel­ing en­er­gised.

The band fea­tures a big brass sec­tion, flute, gui­tars, keys, per­cus­sion and vo­cals. Band mem­bers are well known in the Taupo¯ mu­sic scene and many per­form in a num­ber of bands in venues around town on a reg­u­lar ba­sis.

The con­cert will be held on Satur­day, Oc­to­ber 20 at St An­drew’s in Tı¯tı¯rau­penga St. Doors open at 5.30pm with a $10 cover charge for adults and $2 for chil­dren. The cost of en­try in­cludes pre-din­ner drinks and nib­bles, so bring your friends and fam­ily along.
